Notes:
Ambulance service – while Luce County residents must pay to use the service (either through their insurance, or on their own), they are charged at a cheaper rate than patients who are not from Luce County. Please note that the millage only covers a fraction of the cost of running this service. Contact the Ambulance Service for more information.
Child care fund – this fund is used to pay for children from Luce County that are placed in foster care and juvenile detention facilities. This fund is required under state law.
The “Vet” millage helps the roughly 700 veterans and their spouses in Luce County to receive the benefits from the state and federal governments they earned because of their service to our country.
