The Pentland Township Board will have
a special meeting on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 am,
and will take place at the Pentland Township Hall,
15474 M-28, Newberry, MI 49868.
After public comment, the Board will go into closed session
to discuss litigation/settlement strategy with the Township Attorney (telephonically) regarding the property tax appeal case involving
the Newberry Country Club in the Michigan Tax Tribunal.
If all five board members are present, the board may also consider
other lawful business (as per MCL 41.72).
This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, (MCL 41.72a(2)(3)) and the Americans With Disabilities Act.
The Pentland Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon 14 days notice to the Pentland Township Board.
